At the Physiothérapie du Parc, we offer you specialized therapies. Our team has a post grade graduation in uro-gynecological rehabilitation, respiratory physiotherapy and in sports’ physiotherapy. Our colleague, Manuela who specialized in breast cancer physiotherapy, manage our Breast center.

Uro-gynecological rehabilitation

This treatment helps to prevent,
improve and correct pelvic floor
alterations that usually occur
after pregnancy, childbirth, menopause,
and surgeries. Women are mainly affected
by these dysfunctions, but men can
also be affected following a prostatectomy.

Indications:
Perineal postpartum rehabilitation
Painful scars (sequelae of childbirth)
Urinary stress incontinence
Urinary incontinence by urgency
Fecal incontinence or gases
Post prostatectomy incontinence

Respiratory physiotherapy

Respiratory physiotherapy is a set of techniques (manual and instrumental) and concepts that aims to maintain (or improve) the respiratory capacity in patients with respiratory diseases or a consequence on the respiratory system.

Bronchiolitis in babies
Asthmatic children
Adults with COPD

Sports' physiotherapy

Management of pathologies related to physical activity, rehabilitation after surgery or following overload injuries.

Manual therapy

To recover joints mobiliy.

Therapeutic massage

To reduce muscle tension.

Lymphatic drainage and pressotherapy

These therapies improve the lymphatic and venous circulation.

Taping et Flossing

Taping is a flexible method of contention. The tape is used to relieve functional genes or pain in musculotendinous structures for example.

Decrease of intra-tissue pressure and pain.
Improvement of lymphatic drainage.
Best myofascial behavior.
Increased stability.

Flossing is a method of treatment and rehabilitation for reduced amplitude joints.

Cryotherapy and Thermotherapy

Cryotherapy is a therapy using cold. 

Decrease inflammation or relax a contracture.
Stimulate tissue healing.
To promote the increase of the blood circulation and the oxygen supply of the damaged tissues.

Thermotherapy or heat therapy is an ancient technique that helps relieve muscle pain.

Promote the relaxation of tissues and muscles: torticollis, lumbago, contractures, tensions.

Dry needling

Dry Needling is an effective complement to manual trigger point therapy. Dry Needling is a general term for a therapeutic treatment procedure that involves multiple advances of a filament needle into the muscle in the area of the body which produces pain and typically contains a trigger point.

This program is for anyone who has had a recent fall or is at an increased risk of falling due to age, medication, muscle or joint degeneration, osteoporosis.

General Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is concerned with the promotion of health in the form of prevention and rehabilitation.
